Ghandi

1 comment:

  1. Arriving home I found a bike, chained to the parking pole,
Threaded between the plants I watered through the drought
Bikes save our gasping earth and keep the body’s health
I chastised myself as I packed away my groceries
But still I taped a note, did you see the rack 25 feet away?
I ask does this person’s comfort, enhance environ care
No. Plants and litter pick up win.

Arriving home I found Ghandi, looming in speckled gaze
Blazoned on my building as maintenance dollars flashed
A museum worthy piece with no ticket entry price
I sighed as I walked over, turning computer on
I clicked to the website, on graffiti rules.
I ask does this expression, enhance community care.
    Yes. This fosters fertile conversation.
